AC2 is arguably the best the series had to offer, but my personal favorite is Altair in 1. I loved Syndicate. When i first bought The Ezio collection i hated the revelations and quit it at the start. When i finally gave it a second try i loved it and i would put it almost at the same level as 2 and brotherhood.

ACBlack Flag is not an AC game, it is more a pirate game and is considered very good based on its story, open world and naval combat. The combat system and parkour is very similar to Brotherhood.
